- Simon Leverton, Britannia's founding father (numero uno) and enthusiastic musician, in association with mate Greg Hammond and with support from the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club is starting up a new acoustic music venue in Williamstown. This will happen on Thursday nights, once a month, and will feature local luminaries as well as the occasional hot act from outa town. The venue, now a French-style creperie, was formerly a seaman's mission (yes, Danny S will get an invite sometime real soon) and is a beautiful setting for some laid back acoustic entertainment and a bit of froggie nosh and cider. we'd love you to join us some time. Opening night (31st May) flyer is attached.
