The Brandon is gone!

Brandon Sign
This was the pub sign at the front of the Brandon Hotel in Carlton, probably Melbourne's finest hostelery. It features the emblem of Britannia: Boadicea wearing bells, dancing Morris, waving hankies and drinking beer. Sadly the Brandon is no more.

The Melba Festival encompases a full weekend of events in the Yarra Valley, including the Yesteryear Breakfast in Yarra Glen.

Britannia will be dancing in the streets from 9:30 to 12:30, and then will lead a procession down to McKenzie Reserve to kick off the afternoon's festivities ont he main stage there.
