The Brandon is gone!

This was the pub sign at the front of the Brandon Hotel in Carlton, probably Melbourne's finest hostelery. It features the emblem of Britannia: Boadicea wearing bells, dancing Morris, waving hankies and drinking beer. Sadly the Brandon is no more.

Britannia will travel up the Calder Highway to Kyneton to take part in the Daffodil and Arts Festival.

A grand day out, we will dance in the parade and perform in the gardens and streets around the Arts Festival site.

Kyneton 2005 Parade

Meet at the Bus Depot at 12 noon, then we will be in the Parade that starts from there at 12:30pm.

After the parade you will see us dancing around town a bit.

Keating's Hotel in Woodend is on the way home, so there is every chance that we will drop in there on the way home.
