The Brandon is gone!

This was the pub sign at the front of the Brandon Hotel in Carlton, probably Melbourne's finest hostelery. It features the emblem of Britannia: Boadicea wearing bells, dancing Morris, waving hankies and drinking beer. Sadly the Brandon is no more.

To celebrate the coming of Spring, to show off their magnificent garden, and to raise money for the CFA, the Feldspar B&B are holding a Spring Festival!

Wander the gardens of Feldspar.
Enjoy luscious food and wine by Wildings.
Delight in the garden market.
Play Petanque & Croquet on the Lawn.
And of course The Britannia Morris Men!
Admission $5 (children free), proceeds support the Trentham CFA.

The Festival runs from 9:30am to 4:30pm, and Britannia will be performing around the festival at various times from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

(And since the easiest way to get to Trentham is via Woodend, there is every chance we will stop in for a pint at Keatings on the way home.)
