The Brandon is gone!

This was the pub sign at the front of the Brandon Hotel in Carlton, probably Melbourne's finest hostelery. It features the emblem of Britannia: Boadicea wearing bells, dancing Morris, waving hankies and drinking beer. Sadly the Brandon is no more.

Britannia has been invited to dance at the Echuca Moama Celtic Festival. The festival goes from Friday 27 Feb to Sunday 8th March, but we'll only be there on Saturday 28 Feb 2009.

Where to see Britannia

  • Britannia Morris Men will be dancing in front of 3564 CafĂ© (the Old Historic Post Office) on the corner of Hare and Anstruther Streets from 10am.
  • In the afternoon we will do a few performances at the Old Echuca Port Area.
  • From 5:30pm there is a concert at the Moama Sound Shell, and we will be performing in that.
